Paws for Storytime:
with Cats & Kids
Paws for Storytime: with Cats & Kids is a program designed by Tender Loving Cats, Inc. to offer children under 14yrs of age a way to give back to the homeless cats & kittens in their community by reading to them. Being in a shelter-like environment can be very stressful for any cat or kitten, by reading to them, children help the cats and kittens to relax and get used to being around young children this in turn increasing their adoptability.
All Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18yrs. Parents are required to complete our Volunteer Application and completeing a training session prior to attending Paws for Storytime: with Cats & Kids.
