Tender Loving Cats, Inc. is an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill feline rescue, concentrating on reducing Long Island's community cat population through trap-neuter-return and rehabilitation of homeless cats and kittens for adoption. All cats and kittens adopted from Tender Loving Cats, Inc. are spayed/neutered prior to adoption as a part of our mission to reduce the numbers of homeless cats and kittens on Long Island. Tender Loving Cats, Inc. rescues the mistreated, saves the injured and loves the abandoned.

Tender Loving Cats, Inc. (TLC) is proud to announce that we have received a lifesaving $500 grant from All Cats, All The Time. We would like to thank All Cats, All The Time for investing $500 in our grass roots, foster-based and all-volunteer run organization. In 2024, we rescued. saved, loved and spayed/neutered over 1,400 cats & kittens from the streets of Long Island, NY many of those cats & kittens needing extensive lifesaving medical treatment. Our goal, as always, is to meet or exceed that in 2025! We could not attempt to attain this goal without the generosity of the public who made this grant possible by donating to All Cats, All The Time.

As the year comes to a close, we want to reflect on the incredible work of TLC’s board members, volunteers, and foster parents.

This year, nearly 600 cats and kittens were adopted and close to 900 feral cats were TNRed—now living healthier, happier lives. These numbers don’t happen by chance. They happen because of people.

Every trap set, late night, foster room opened, and act of compassion added up to real, life-changing impact. Rescue work isn’t easy and it’s often thankless, but what matters is the difference made—and it is profound.

To every volunteer and foster: be proud. What you’ve accomplished is meaningful, powerful, and truly remarkable. Thank you for being the reason this work is possible
